“Millionaires” on TVN have accustomed us to certain unchanging constants. Each episode must include: Hubert Urbański, a question and confirmation: “Finally? Finally!”, at least one loss and a strategic suspension of the program before a long commercial break. In addition, there are financial thresholds that have remained unchanged for years – PLN 1,000, PLN 40,000 and the million that every player dreams of.
This scheme will change on October 20. Especially on Friday, an episode will be broadcast in which the main winnings are multiplied by two. Yes. You can win as much as PLN 2 million.
“Millionaires”. Main prize – two million zlotys!
Friday’s episode will be the finale of the special series of “Millionaires”. It will be hosted, as usual, by Hubert Urbański. Similarly to “One of Ten”, the finale was preceded by qualifying episodes. On Friday, those players who answered at least seven questions in the previous eight episodes will take part in the Grand Final.
They will again face “first come (and correct) first served” eliminations. Later, however, the rules become complicated. An auction element has been introduced – before the game starts, the participant will be able to risk part of his winnings from the previous episode and, if he wins two million, additionally “add” it to the main winnings.
There is also a change at the level of guaranteed thresholds. Only the first one stays in the same place – on the second question. The second guaranteed threshold is later determined by the player himself and can be set, for example, on the penultimate question.
And what does the sum tree look like for each correctly answered question? Hold on to your chairs, because inflation here is 100%.
- First question – PLN 1,000
- Question two – PLN 2,000 (guaranteed threshold)
- Third question – PLN 5,000
- Question four – 10 thousand. zloty
- Question five – 20 thousand. zloty
- Question six – 50 thousand. zloty
- Question seven – 100,000 zloty
- Question eight – 200,000 zloty
- Question nine – 350,000. zloty
- Question ten – 500 thousand zloty
- Question eleven – 900 thousand zloty
- Question twelve – PLN 2 million
Sounds nice? Unfortunately, this will not be the standard. For now, we are sure about one edition of “Millionaires. 2 Millions”. Whether TVN will decide to continue such a noble series will be revealed after the Grand Final and after checking the show’s viewership results.
