You can find plenty of recipes for homemade masks and facial care methods online. Many of these methods have been well known for many years, and even our grandmothers used them. Often rediscovered after many years, they become a real sensation again. They can get results like after a visit to a beauty salon costing several thousand zlotys, but they cost pennies. One of grandma’s beauty hits is aspirin. Indispensable in the fight against colds, it will also help in taking care of your skin.
Aspirin face mask. It will be like visiting a SPA
Thanks to the content of acetylsalicylic acid, the mask with aspirin will help not only in the fight against acne and imperfections, but also in dealing with blackheads, discolorations and blackheads. It has anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties. It works well for both acne-prone and combination skin. An aspirin mask will smooth the complexion, cleanse and reduce sebum secretion. Thanks to it, your face will look like after a visit to the SPA. However, it will not work for everyone. People who are allergic to the ingredients of this drug, as well as people with dry, sensitive and irritation-prone skin, should be careful with it. Before using it, it is worth doing an allergy test and applying a little of the product, e.g. to the skin behind the ear.
Aspirin mask for wrinkles and imperfections. 15 minutes is enough
To make an aspirin mask, you need 3-4 tablets (they cannot be effervescent or coated tablets), a tablespoon of thick natural yogurt and a teaspoon of honey. A teaspoon of hydrolate or boiled water will also be useful.
- Crush the tablets and mix with hydrolate or water.
- Add yogurt and honey. Mix and apply to the entire face or to problem areas in the T zone (chin, nose and forehead).
- Leave on your face for about 15 minutes.
After this time, wash it off with warm water and gently exfoliate. Finish the care treatment with a moisturizing cream. If you feel discomfort after applying the mask, wash it off. Perform the treatment 2-3 times a month, no more than once a week.
