Students from the “Academy of Innovative Education” in Miami were shocked when their teacher turned on the film during a math lesson. According to the teacher’s account, the children themselves asked her for the screening, but – as the outraged parents of the harmed children emphasize – it is not up to them to decide what they want. They must be right here, because “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” has little in common with his animal friends. The production that children from Miami saw is actually a horror film from 2023, intended in Poland for viewers over 15 years of age. Meanwhile, some fourth-graders are not even 10 years old.
“Winnie the Pooh” is not for children
According to the reports of the children’s parents, the teacher did not interrupt the screening despite the requests of some of them. “Stop the video, we don’t want to watch it,” the students said, but the teacher did not intervene.
The American media became interested in the case, including CBS News, to which the Miami school sent a statement. “Our administration immediately raised this issue directly with the teacher and took appropriate actions to ensure the safety and well-being of students. We are actively monitoring students and our mental health counselor and principal have already met with those students who expressed concerns,” they said representatives of the facility.
“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” is a bloody mess in which the heroes of their favorite childhood fairy tale (Winnie the Pooh and Piglet) are abandoned by Christopher Robin and then start murdering in the Hundred Acre Wood.
