For second consecutive Year, the best bar in the world is back in Barcelona. It’s about the cocktails Yeplocated in the Eixamplea project that “combines elegant design with cutting-edge technique to create a fun ‘drinkery house‘(drinking house) by Simone Caporale and Marc Álvarez,” reports Forbes magazine.
50 Best’s content director, William Drew, assures that “Sips is a worthy winner of the title The World’s Best Bar,” as it “fluently translates the contemporary innovation and technical precision in a fun cocktail program, accompanied by the hospitality more welcoming.”
For its part, the establishment that triumphed last year in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023, Paradisealso located in Barcelona, once again takes one of the first places, specifically, fourth.
Other bars in the top 5 are Double Chicken Please by NY (second), Handshake Speakeasy by Mexico City (third place) and Connaught Bar London (fifth position). This edition’s list includes bars from 28 cities with 11 new establishments that did not appear in previous years.
