Right after school, Danuta Holecka moved from Lidzbark to Warsaw, where she continued her education at the high school of the Sisters of Nazareth. All thanks to her grandfather, who dreamed of his granddaughter attending a school run by nuns. He also paid for Holecka’s education. For the next stage of her studies, the woman decided to choose economics at the Warsaw School of Economics. – I studied at the Warsaw School of Economics because I wanted to have a serious profession. After graduation, when I was looking for a job, I found out from an advertisement that Telewizja Polska was announcing a competition for journalists and presenters. I thought I could try it – in an interview with the “Idziemy” portal. However, the woman did not work in her learned profession.
It was with this announcement that it all started. Danuta Holecka decided to take part in the casting, but she did not expect that she would be successful. However, she managed to get to the next stage and later started working at TVP. Thanks to this, the journalist has been associated with this television station since 1993. She has been running “Wiadomości” since 2016, and in 2019 she became the head of the format.

The couple met when the man organized student trips for seasonal work in Norway. As the website indicates, Krzysztof Dunin proposed to Danuta Holecka quite quickly, but they postponed the wedding date many times. – When I got married, I was very young and I only wanted to love, be loved and have healthy children. And that’s what I asked God for – said the journalist in an interview with “Życie na Gorąco”. The couple also had two children. These are twins Stefan and Julian.
