Daniel Noboa and Lavinia Valbonesi: how the relationship between the newly elected president of Ecuador and his first lady came about

The couple that make up the president-elect Daniel Noboa and Lavinia Valbonesi, the new first lady of Ecuador, is one of the most media-friendly in the country. I was surprised; I thought he wouldn’t listen to me, but he did,” said the young businesswoman, who is also the owner of Green Deli (a restaurant and health food store in Samborondón), in a recent interview for this newspaper.

The first joint photo arrived on December 30, 2019, when Lavinia shared several shots from the end of the year, thanking her for everything that happened to her during that period of her life. “The most unexpected and beautiful thing of my year. After a year and eight months of dating, Lavinia and Daniel celebrated the most special day in their history: marriage. The wedding took place in August 2021, and the beach was chosen, just as the bride had dreamed.
