The Sunday edition of “Wiadomości” began with a report on voter turnout. TVP employees noticed that it was very high, and queues to the commission were also forming abroad. A speech by President Andrzej Duda was shown, encouraging people to fulfill their civic duty.

The chairwoman of the district electoral commission No. 101 in Warsaw clearly did not want to talk to the TVP Info reporter, who accused her commission of unacceptable practices. The woman briefly replied that this was not true and they were “doing everything we can” to make sure everything went well. Then, recordings from the Internet were shown, in which commission employees were to ask voters questions about their choice of cards.

TVP’s representative from Stockholm emphasized that Sweden “cannot cope with the gang war, which is intensifying from week to week.”
However, in the material about the war between Israel and Hamas, the story of a Polish woman who lives permanently in Germany is told. The woman praised the Polish army, which efficiently carried out the evacuation of its citizens, unlike Germany, which, in her opinion, did not think at all about their compatriots who were in Israel during the conflict.
The anniversary of Karol Wojtyła’s election as pope, which will be celebrated on October 16, has also not been forgotten. However, in many places in Poland, people are already celebrating, which was closely observed by TVP cameras. A collection was also mentioned, the funds from which would be used to improve the conditions of poor students. The creator of the material did not forget to refer to the aftermath of the reportage produced by TVN24 entitled “Franciszkańska 3” about the abuses allegedly committed by John Paul II.
In the context of the Polish Pope’s defense of life, mention was made of the “spring attack” of the TVN station on John Paul II, which allegedly “accused him of covering up pedophilia.” It was found that the station’s employees used manipulation and lies, and according to a survey conducted by CBOS, the “vast majority” of Poles believe that the Polish Pope is still an important moral authority for them.
