Two extraordinary spectacles in one evening. Look at the sky today

On October 9, further Starlink satellites were launched, which we can observe in the sky in various parts. Today, October 13, the “space train” will also be visible in Poland, twice. To admire it, you do not need any specialized equipment, not even binoculars, because you can easily see the satellites with the naked eye. If you have the opportunity, it is worth going to a place free from city lights. What time is best to look at the sky?

“Space train” over Poland. Where will it be visible?

The first flight will take place relatively early, at 6:44 p.m. Unfortunately, because the sky is still relatively bright at this time, in some regions it may be difficult or even impossible to spot the “space train”. Who can count on happiness? As we can read on the website, there are signals that in case of a cloudless sky, the satellites should be visible very well from Warsaw and further east. So if you live in this area, at 6:44 p.m. don’t forget to raise your head and look towards the western sky, because from there, towards the east and up to the zenith, an extraordinary 21 satellites will appear. The flight will last 6 minutes.

The second flight will be visible throughout Poland. You better not be late, because it will only last 3 minutes

The second flight will take place at 20:16. Due to the darkness, unless the sky is cloudy, it should be clearly visible throughout Poland. So, after 8 p.m., we should direct our eyes towards the western vault, because that is where the next space train will appear. You better not be late, because the entire spectacle, although beautiful, will last only 3 minutes.
