Until October 20, a special edition of “Millionaires” will be broadcast on TVN, which will end with a grand finale. Participants who won at least PLN 40,000 by that day. PLN, they will be able to compete for a prize of as much as PLN 2 million! However, these are not the only changes that are currently in force in the game show. One of the participants found this out.

In the currently broadcast episodes of “Millionaires”, there have been changes to the program’s regulations. Participants can now set the second guaranteed threshold themselves. However, this possibility is conditional on exceeding the ceiling of PLN 1,000 for the first question. Interestingly, it is not as easy now as it used to be.

In “Millionaires” the stakes are much higher now. But also a more difficult question

In the last episode (669) of “Millionaires”, Oktawia Lipińska, who played second, failed to answer the first question correctly. The first competitor was an engineer and scientist from Krakow, Mikołaj Mielczarek. The man got as far as the question for 125,000. zlotys, but he did not know the correct answer to the question about rock music and decided to give up.

Which album’s cover is decorated with a photo taken just before a bass guitar was smashed on the stage?

  • a) “Synchronicity” by The Police
  • b) “British Steel” by Judas Preist
  • c) “London Calling” by The Clash
  • d) “Kill’ Em All” by Metallica

A young student of Polish studies and psychology from Świecie was in a completely different situation. She had a question about semantics, but apparently the knowledge she acquired during her studies in Polish studies did not mean that she knew the answer to the difficult question.

An acquaintance is someone about whom:

  • a) speaks in a whisper
  • b) always remembers
  • c) does not remember properly
  • d) learned from gossip

The future Polish teacher quickly chose the answer d), but it was not a happy accident. “Familiarized” is someone who is “not properly remembered.” Oktawia’s quick move meant that she said goodbye to the program without any money. As a graduate of Polish studies, I can defend the participant because I know that this is not what students of this field learn.
