Marcin Wójcik from Ania Mru-Mru revealed which politician makes him laugh the most
The new government caused skits about government meetings, in which Marcin Wójcik participated, to disappear from TVP. “Although Donald Tusk and his team reacted very nicely to our jokes, a wall grew, there was resistance and suddenly the atmosphere became unpleasant,” he explained. Wójcik also claims that one of the jokes about Donald Tusk repeated by Jarosław Kaczyński comes from the above-mentioned skits. It’s about the voice that PO leaders “only want to fight hard.” “I feel very disgusted when I observe the current government. People who have no distance from each other try to joke and it doesn’t work at all,” says Wójcik.
The cabaret artist also revealed which politician, in his opinion, has the greatest comedy potential. Wójcik is betting on Janusz Kowalski from Sovereign Poland. “If you dressed him up funny and put him on stage, people would have a lot of fun. He wouldn’t even have to say anything,” says a member of Ani Mru Mru. However, the creator also appreciates politicians unironically. He praised Donald Tusk and Szymon Hołownia for their sense of humor, and he also liked the sarcastic approach of Włodzimierz Czarzasty.
It is impossible to joke about the PiS government
Marcin Wójcik explains that Ani Mru Mru does not joke about politics because these sketches become obsolete too quickly. In addition, Wójcik’s teammate – Michał Wójcik – is not interested in politics at all. Additionally, some of the information that reaches us from the ruling camp is so absurd that it sounds like a joke in itself.
“An example would be a cabaret joke that two Russian rockets fell on Polish territory. The army, police, helicopters or drones did not find them. No one found them. Only a woman on a horse found them. It would be a nice joke if it were not true. How can we make fun of it even more? Well, it’s impossible,” says the cabaret artist.
