Sawka graduated from the Acting Department of the National Film, Television and Theater School. Karolina Sawka decided herself that she wanted to be an actress
– My parents decided to give me a choice in my adult life, and not to decide for me as a child: for this reason, after the film was broadcast, they did not send me to TV series or programs. As an adult, I chose this path on my own. I think their choice was right – said the actress in one of the interviews. In “Desert and Wilderness” she had the opportunity to watch the work of, for example, Artur ¯mijewski and Andrzej Strzelecki. She had the most scenes with Adam Fidusiewicz, the film’s Staś.
Her partner is Mateusz Rzeźniczak, a graduate of the same university in Łódź, who may be familiar to viewers of “War Girls”, “Colors of Happiness” and “Furioza” or .
