At the end of the 1990s, the chef impressed with his knowledge in the reports “Robert Makłowicz’s Culinary Travels”, today he runs his own YouTube channel, which already has over half a million subscribers.

Makłowicz is also loved by young artists, he welcomed participants of stadium concerts on Sanah’s “Uczta” tour, and rapper Rau Performance paid tribute to him in the song “Jak Makłowicz”.

On October 9, the painting exhibition “The Faces of Mr. Robert Makłowicz” started at the Piękny Pies club. “We are fascinated by the complexity of Robert Makłowicz, who from an oracle of good taste has also become a pop culture phenomenon. Our paintings refer to his activities on the Internet, where over the course of a few years he has gained many new recipients. Just as the brain combines the ingredients of a dish into a coherent taste, so our painting pixels form scenes from Robert Makłowicz’s media activity,” students announce the event on the official website of the Institute of Art and Design of the Pedagogical University of Krakow.

Although the organizers announced that a mysterious guest would attend the opening, no one expected that the intimate event would arouse so much interest. There was a queue outside the club for several hours. All because one of the TikToks about the exhibition went viral.

The mysterious guest turned out to be Robert Makłowicz himself. However, despite his sincere intentions, the cook did not arrive. As we read in the comments under the video presenting the gigantic queue, the sought-after culinary critic was recording material for Szlachetna Paczka on the same day, but unfortunately the shooting took longer. One of the people present at the opening admitted that she had been waiting to meet Makłowicz for 3.5 hours.
