At the end of August 2022, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw filed an application for the cassation of the verdict acquitting Bartłomiej M., but – as Gruca and Gierszewski note – the case has not yet been moved. And the first notification regarding Bartłomiej M. was supposed to be submitted to the police in 2010 – then the case was discontinued due to lack of evidence and data of the suspect.
Bartłomiej M. is a former two-time candidate of Law and Justice in the Sejm elections in 2011 and 2015, he also played in a PiS election spot. Before 2005, he was associated with the Civic Platform. He was also an actor, he played, among others, in the films “1920 Battle of Warsaw”, “Chopin. Desire for Love” and the series “Colors of Happiness”, “Father Mateusz” and “Mafia Women”.
