In the latest episode of “Kitchen Revolutions”, Magda Gessler came to Gdańsk to help the owner of the Italian restaurant “Mio Gastro” overcome the financial crisis. Right from the entrance, she noticed the decor of the place, which – in her opinion – did not match the character of the restaurant. Later it only got worse.

Magda Gessler’s behavior in “Kitchen Revolutions” has been a subject of discussion for years. Some people believe that the restaurateur helps owners get out of the crisis, and her methods are right (and effective). However, many people claim that throwing plates and insults is a manifestation of the so-called a culture of humiliation and it should never happen, especially in front of thousands of viewers. Despite this, the program is still very popular. The latest episode also featured controversial behavior.
Magda Gessler didn’t like the interior of the “Mio Gastro” restaurant, but later it only got worse. The restaurateur didn’t like the dishes served by the kitchen either. She found the carbonara inedible, so she called the owner and told him to eat it, saying: “Take a fork and eat this pasta.”

After a while, it turned out that there was no professional chef in the restaurant and that the dishes were prepared by the owner’s partner. The cup of bitterness overflowed when the restaurateur entered the kitchen. It turned out that “Mio Gastro” did not pass the purity test. Then Gessler couldn’t stand it; she smashed the plate on the ground and announced that if the kitchen is not shiny by tomorrow, she will stop the revolution.
Ultimately, however, the “Mio Gastro” crew got to work and took care of the cleanliness of the restaurant. Magda Gessler decided to change the dishes served to higher quality ones, she also modified the name of the place – it is now called “Trattoria Melone Rosa”. During the final dinner, the guests were delighted with both the food and the decor of the renovated space.
