Cabarets attacked Duda after criticizing the film Holland. When they proposed a compromise, there was thunderous applause

In the “Kabaret na ¯ywo” program on Polsat, Andrzej Duda and the PiS government were once again mocked. This time, the excuse for the joke was a campaign against the film “The Green Border” by Agnieszka Holland.

In their skits, they most often discuss universal topics, such as family relationships or jokes about stereotypes. In addition, they use current affairs in their scenes. They relate to politics and culture. This was also the case with the Młodzi i Moralni cabaret.

Cabarets attack PiS again. They commented on the criticism of Agnieszka Holland’s film

On Sunday, October 1, another episode of the “Kabaret na Żywo” program was broadcast on Polsat. One of the sketches featured Robert Górski, beloved by the audience, who also serves as a host in the studio and announces other comedians. The cabaret repertoire included a topic that has been on the media’s mind for weeks, namely the criticism of the film “The Green Border”.

The subject of Agnieszka Holland’s work is very far from comedy, but the campaign against the film actually resembles a farce. Subsequent comments by Polish politicians about the production made it difficult to believe that they were really said. A perfect example here would be the comparison of Holland’s painting to Nazi propaganda.

“You make anti-Polish films, and we make anti-Polish politics”

On the cabaret stage we saw the creators who played Andrzej Duda and Mateusz Morawiecki. The politicians were visited by Agnieszka Holland, whom the “president” did not recognize. “Are you normal? I am the conscience of the nation,” “Holland” said to the “head of state.” The pretend prime minister replied: “Well, probably not with brains.”

Górski, who played the role of Morawiecki, explained to the “director” that he was approaching the topics in the wrong way. He proposed an interesting compromise to the creator. “You only make good films about bad topics. You make anti-Polish films, and we make anti-Polish politics. Maybe we will join forces! We will make a film about Ziobro. You don’t like him, we don’t like him,” the politicians proposed a solution. After these words, the entire room burst into laughter and loud applause.
