The activist and influencer said she had been raising this issue for years and it was finally starting to be taken seriously. She briefly described what is happening among Polish creators on YouTube with the word “revolution”.

Maja Staśko also spoke on this matter. In a conversation with the editor of Plotek.pl, she encouraged victims to speak out loud about what happened to them, because Pandora Gate is a situation that can finally lead to change and a different perception of sexual abuse. YouTubers, previously surrounded by invincibility and glory, lost their sources of income overnight after their behavior towards minors was revealed – some sent disgusting messages to underage fans, others even invited them to a hotel.
This is an extraordinary moment because they regain their courage. The prosecutor general and the government stood on their side… You can guess that it is related to the elections, but honestly, when it comes to the well-being of the wronged people, I don’t care what their motivations are. The most important thing is the support they receive at this moment, said Maja Staśko.
