An article appeared in which the stakes that keep the faces of TVP’s “Wiadomości” are revealed. For a long time, this data was strictly protected and no one outside the government has seen these contracts, but now all the details are known and it is known that the United Right government does not skimp on its employees.
Here are the brightest stars in the sky on TVP – Holecka and Adamczyk can earn over PLN 4 million in five years
The best paid are Danuta Holecka and Michał Adamczyk. The former was appointed editorial manager of the “Wiadomości” program in 2019, and the latter became the head of the Television Information Agency this spring. It turns out that they have signed two contracts with TVP and they are not related to their functions.
On the one hand, they are employed as individuals, with a relatively low salary reaching PLN 5,000-10,000 in recent years. zloty. But the real benefits lie elsewhere – Holecka and Adamczyk have their own sole proprietorship companies, with which TVP signs additional, much more lucrative contracts – we read in Onet’s text.
Danuta Holecka runs the company DDH Studio “V”, on behalf of which she signed a contract in September 2020 to run “Wiadomości” 10-11 times a month, for which she receives a total of PLN 46,000. PLN net. The agreement entered into force retroactively – from August 1, 2020, and ended on January 31, 2023.
During this time, the female face of “Wiadomości” was supposed to earn almost PLN 1.4 million, but the contract also included another provision stating that, together with other additions, “the total value of the contract (…) will not exceed PLN 2,072,550.00 (in words : two million seventy-two thousand five hundred fifty zlotys). The above PLN 2 million maximum salary is the net amount that Holecka earned.
At the beginning of February, Holecka, as DDH Studio “V”, signed a new contract, which is valid until July 31, 2025. The terms of this contract state that the national media employee is to host “Wiadomości” on TVP1 9-11 times a month. She also received a raise to PLN 50,000. PLN net per month, and the total remuneration throughout the entire contract period is to amount to PLN 1.5 million net.
Of course, there is also a reservation here that “the total value of the contract (…) will not exceed PLN 2,005,000.00 (in words: two million five thousand zlotys)”. According to this provision, Holecka can earn over PLN 2 million net with bonuses. It turns out that for his work at the pro-government TVP he can receive a maximum remuneration of over PLN 4 million net in less than five years.

This agreement also obliges TVP to cover all additional costs, e.g. related to its trips during the preparation of “Wiadomości”. Let us remind you that the employee recently ran the program from the United States for several days. However, the contract that Holecka has with TVP as an individual partially overlaps in terms of the scope of duties with the contracts she signs for the company.
How much does Michał Adamczyk earn?
Similar situations occur in the employment of Michał Adamczyk. From the beginning of August 2020 to the end of January 2023, he had a contract with TVP through his sole proprietorship company Mediami, and his remuneration was as much as PLN 43,000. PLN net per month. For this rate, Adamczyk was to present “Wiadomości” to the same extent as Holecka.
As part of this contract, he was also to host the journalistic program “Bez retuszu”. Today, this program, as “Strefa starcia”, is one of the most important items in the TVP schedule, which was even moved to TVP1. In total, during the above-mentioned According to the contract, Adamczyk received almost PLN 1.3 million, although together with other benefits he could have received up to PLN 2 million.
The head of TAI, who is on leave, just like Holecka, concluded a new contract in mid-March. A national media employee received a raise, thanks to which he now earns PLN 47,000. PLN net per month. Moreover, during the 2.5 years of the contract, TVP will pay him a minimum of PLN 1.4 million net, and with bonuses it may be over PLN 1.8 million net. Adamczyk can earn PLN 4 million net in five years.

Edyta Lewandowska is not as recognizable, but equally well paid
The lesser-known Edyta Lewandowska is employed under similar conditions. “Her company Elmedia started with a one-year contract and a monthly salary of PLN 40,000 net. Between February 2021 and January 2022, Lewandowska earned almost half a million PLN net, although with various additions it could have been even over PLN 900,000 net” – Onet reports.

The national media employee also received a new contract, but compared to the biggest stars, she did not receive a raise, only a contract for a longer period of time. In total, over the next two years – from February 2022 to January 2024 – he will earn almost PLN 1 million net, and with bonuses it may be over PLN 1.2 million net.
Another presenter of “Wiadomości”, with a slightly shorter experience in this program, is Marta Kielczyk. She has been an employee of Telewizja Polska for many years, but she was entrusted with hosting the flagship program on TVP1 only in the fall of last year.

Telewizja Polska signed a two-year contract with her company, which is simply called “Marta Kielczyk”, according to which the employee receives as much as PLN 42,000 a month. PLN 850 net. By September next year, he will earn at least PLN 1 million net, and with bonuses it may even exceed PLN 1.6 million net.
All this information shows that the four employees of national television can earn almost PLN 12 million, which is paid to them from our taxes.
