Drying jeans is problematic. Many people throw them into the dryer with a light hand. Then, yes, they dry in a relatively short time, and they are also very soft. A few washes later, however, it turns out that they will only fit my younger sister, because some clothes simply shrink in this device. Others hang them on a traditional standing drying rack. However, there is another problem – time. What if we could speed it up a bit?
Forget about the iron, put away the hair dryer
Trousers made of such a thick material as jeans unfortunately take some time to dry. Especially if we don’t have the opportunity to hang them outside on a breezy and warm day. If we don’t want it to shrink in the dryer, we hang it up at home. If we are pressed for time, we use a hair dryer to speed up the process a bit. Another solution is ironing – a hot iron makes the water evaporate much faster.
Grab a towel
However, if we do not feel like spending several dozen minutes to manually help dry our pants, we can try one more trick. After washing and removing it from the washing machine, it is worth grabbing a clean and dry towel. Lay it flat and put the jeans on it. Then we roll the whole thing into a roll and press it firmly. Excess water will be quickly absorbed by the towel, making your pants drier. Now just hang them on a standing drying rack, radiator or chair and wait until they dry completely. After such preliminary drying, it will take much less time than if we hung them straight from the washing machine.
It is also good to pay attention to the towel we use. It turns out that due to a common mistake of many Poles, our towels absorb water much worse. We described everything in detail in the above article.
