55-year-old Danuta Holecka has been associated with Telewizja Polska since 1993. She previously graduated in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics, but decided to pursue television in her future. Despite the fact that the government has changed many times over the past 30 years, Holecka is still faithful to the national broadcaster.
At the beginning of her career, she reported on events from the Senate and later hosted many television programs. However, her greatest recognition came from hosting “Wiadomości”, of which she was the host for many years until 2010.

She returned to running a television daily on TVP1 in 2016, when Jacek Kurski became the president of TVP. And three years later, the management of the national broadcaster appointed her to the position of editorial manager of the “Wiadomości” program.
In the ongoing pre-election period, a large advertising campaign was launched for “Wiadomości”, which is created as a “Polish news daily”. Theoretically, this measure has nothing to do with the upcoming parliamentary elections, but the duration of the campaign is set for the first two weeks of October.
Banners with the faces of “Wiadomości” TVP1 can already be seen on the Internet, and billboards will soon be hung all over Poland. The current graphics advertising “Wiadomości” feature the female faces of the TV daily: Edyta Lewandowska, Marta Kielczyk, Anna Bogusiewicz and Danuta Holecka.
Michał Marszal, who runs one of the most popular satirical Instagram accounts, used Holecka’s image in the latest campaign. He noted that the head of the editorial office of “Wiadomości” looks slightly different in the presented photos than in reality, when she runs a famous TV daily. Apparently, the person responsible for processing the photos was carried away by imagination and “embellished” the head of “Wiadomości” too much. That’s why he looks like a different person.
