“Moscas”, by Aritz Moreno, will be in the Official Section of Sitges

The San Sebastian director Aritz Moreno will participate in the Official Section of the International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, which celebrates its 56th edition in Sitges between October 5 and 15.

In his second feature film, Moreno once again adapts a novel as he did in his previous film, Advantages of traveling by train (2019). In this case, Moreno brings to the screen a script signed by Javier Gullón (Advantages of traveling by train, Enemy) in which the novel is adapted That from a distance they look like fliesby Argentine Kike Ferrari.

Ernesto Alterio plays a powerful and unscrupulous businessman who finds himself in an extreme situation: after getting a flat tire, he finds a corpse tied to the trunk of his car.

The photography is the work of Javier Agirre (Handia, Maixabel, Oreina, La trinchera infinite…), and the musician is signed by Maite Arroitajauregi.

Moscas joins in the Official Section with Robot dreamsanimated film by Bilbao director Pablo Berger (Torremolinos 73, Snow White…).

In addition, out of competition, The hermitage, produced by the Basque Bixagu Entrentainment and starring Belén Rueda.
