The controversial program “The Magic of Nudity” is one of the few television productions that still arouses interest. Although episodes of the show are also available on streaming services, in Poland the program is mainly associated with Zoom TV, which broadcasts foreign editions and produced three seasons of the Polish version.
A participant in “The Magic of Nudity” revealed where researchers are looking for future participants
Recently, a young man, Connor, who appeared in the second episode of the seventh season and was introduced as an American soldier, decided to talk about his adventure with the British “Nude Magic”. On his TikTok profile, where he works under the nickname “Conzo”, he decided to tell how he got into the program and what he remembers about participating in the dating show.
The almost three-minute recording begins with the girl saying: “I’ve never been to ‘The Magic of Nudity,’ but someone who was a participant needs to contact me and tell me exactly what they think.” Conzo from California then appeared on the screen and explained, “Okay, let me tell you about the show behind the scenes.”
The first information he shared may be shocking. “First of all, I didn’t know I was auditioning for ‘The Magic of Nudity’ when I did it,” we hear on the recording, before Conzo explains that the production company posted on a Facebook group called Overheard in Sterling, where “there is many master’s and doctoral programs.
He arranged a telephone interview with them, in which he was very charming, and suddenly he was asked: “Have you ever heard of the show ‘The Magic of Nudity’?” Conzo admitted he hadn’t heard of him, but realized he might have been a little “too charming” when the production company began pestering him to participate. After some thought, he decided to do it because he was newly single at the time and thought it would be great fun.

Later, the young man began to say that he had many funny conversations with people about “The Magic of Nudity” because it was “simply unusual.” Additionally, he stated that there are many people who have seen him completely naked on TV but do not remember him. At the same time, he points out that it was a very interesting experience that taught him body positivity. “It’s just a body. (…) We all have it. We’ve all seen it. There’s nothing new about it,” he said.
Conzo also confessed that he receives many messages from people who remember him from the show and tell him that it was nice to see him “not insulting anyone’s body on this show.” “The moral of the story is that it’s fun to live a life of fun and it’s fun to do things that are a little out of the box,” he says on TikTok.
There were voices in the comments under the video confirming this thesis. “You were really lovely on the show, you acted like a gentleman.” Conzo replied to the person by saying: “If my mother heard that I insulted people’s bodies, she would be very disappointed.” Another person asked him about the details of the production: “Did they pay you? What was the presenter like when they weren’t filming?” He replied: “I got money for food for two days and they paid for the hotel, but I didn’t take money for food.”
He also admitted that he initially thought he might find the love of his life in the program. And although this did not happen, he is still in contact with the person he chose in the program. After leaving the US Marine Corps, the man moved to the UK to study. In the meantime, he was already married, but quickly divorced.
He said on the show that he was looking for someone to settle down with who would have the same sexual desires. Conzo eventually chose brunette Bianca, with whom he went on a date in Manchester. They spent a nice time together, but they lived four hours away from each other, which meant they decided not to build a relationship. However, they remained friends.
What about the Polish edition of “The Magic of Nudity”? The program was at the peak of popularity
Creating a native edition aroused a lot of emotions from the very beginning. In spring 2021, the station postponed the premiere of the program. At that time, there was a lot of talk in the media about complaints from conservative television viewers to the National Broadcasting Council. The program, hosted by Beata Olga Kowalska, began to be broadcast in the fall and had three seasons and was very popular.
However, despite the high viewership, the station decided to stop producing new episodes. It is quite possible that they did it out of fear of further fines. It is worth mentioning that last year the broadcaster was fined for broadcasting one of the episodes of the Polish edition of the show. The broadcaster Zoom TV appealed to the court, and the president of Kino Polska TV, Bogusław Kisielewski, at one of the conferences, lamented the regulator’s approach to this format
