Although cooperation with the group lasted only four years, the news of Jon’s death shocked its members, as they wrote in a statement published on social media.

Jon Kennedy was a member of the group from 1991-1992 and 1994-1995. Together with the rest of the band, he worked on the first version of the album “Dusk and Her Embrace”.
The members of the band “Hecate Enthroned”, with whom Jon Kennedy worked for some time, also said goodbye to music. “This is not only a huge loss to his family and friends, but to the thousands of music fans and genre lovers he touched and inspired. Jon’s passion for music was immense and at times all-consuming, and this is reflected in how respected he is in the black metal scene.” – we read in a statement posted on Facebook.
The police reported that the car accident in which the musician died occurred on September 25 in the early morning on the highway in Broughton, Wales. Emergency services arrived at the scene, but Jon’s life could not be saved.
