Will the world end on October 4, 2023? Internet users: to protect yourself, wrap your phone in foil

October 4, 2023 is an important date for many people. Some people expect the worst, that is, the end of the world. All thanks to FEMA’s announcement regarding the threat notification system.

For several weeks, information has circulated on the Internet that on October 4, our phones, TVs and other devices of this type will emit a certain message. It would seem that displaying a few words on screens is harmless. However, many people were beyond shocked.

“THIS IS A TEST”

The whole thing concerns the threat notification system. The US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have set a date for testing the above system. On October 4, 2023, the following message will appear on the screens of Americans’ devices:

THIS IS A TEST OF THE NATIONAL WIRELESS DANGER WARNING SYSTEM. No action is needed

Additionally, some devices may emit warning sounds, which are mainly intended to be used by blind or visually impaired people. The procedure for testing such systems is standard in many countries, not only the USA, including: also in Poland. Despite this, many people have created numerous conspiracy theories about her.

Chip activation, zombie apocalypse

One of them concerns vaccines. Some believe that activating the warning system test will also activate the chips that are in the bodies of most citizens who have received vaccinations. And here the theory is divided into several scenarios. Some say that this will turn people into zombies and the apocalypse will come. Others, in turn, believe that chips will simply kill people, which will lead to massive depopulation of the entire world. For several weeks now, you have been able to find various ways to protect yourself against “attacks” on the Internet. Some people recommend turning off all electrical devices on this day. Others wrap them in aluminum foil.

However, specialists reassure us that this is a standard procedure. In addition, it only applies to residents of the United States, not the entire world. Government organizations need to test systems related to citizen security from time to time. As they assure, nothing other than displaying messages on the devices and possible sound signals will happen that day. It is worth looking for information in proven, official sources, not materials published by private people via social networking sites.
