The question about Shakespeare’s plays was asked when the points were multiplied by two, so the stakes were quite high. The team of “librarians”, who won PLN 1,632 in the previous “Familiada”, found out that even seemingly easy questions related to their profession can be difficult to answer in front of the cameras.
It was easier with “Romeo and Juliet”, but five Shakespeare plays are already a problem
The most popular answer was given by the competitor to the “librarians” at the station with the button. Because she chose “Romeo and Juliet” like 35 respondents, her team continued playing. They could have passed the question to their opponents, but they decided to face it, even though the words about pressure and fear were said half-jokingly, half-seriously: “what if they fire us…”.
After her friends were successful with “Macbeth” and “Hamlet”, things started to go downhill. A participant named Gabriela said:
I won’t answer, I hope they won’t fire me.
However, “The Librarians” managed so well to win the final of “Familiada”
Due to the fact that the next “librarian” only remembered that Shakespeare wrote a play about the king, but was unable to name him, another opportunity was lost. As did another one, which caused the question to be taken over by opponents. A team called “board games” targeted “King Lear” or “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Unfortunately, by betting on this first title, the captain deprived them of the chance to take the points. The fourth and fifth correct answers were “Othello” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.
To be precise, let us add that not all “librarians” have education in this field. The ladies work in the library, but they also deal with, among others, sound system and social media. They did so well with other questions that they not only entered the finals for the second time, but this time they also managed to win the main prize. The entire episode can be watched in streaming on TVP VOD.
