People who have reached the standard retirement age (60 for women, 65 for men) receive an ID card, which has been issued in the mObywatel application since the beginning of this year. If you want a form, you should submit an application for it. Having an ID card entitles you to many discounts, such as obtaining a passport for PLN 70 (50 percent cheaper), lower fares for two train journeys in 2nd class (37 percent discount), or cheaper public transport tickets. Importantly, the amount of the latter is determined by each commune, so they may vary depending on the city. In addition to a pensioner’s ID, you can also receive one National Senior Card, which additionally entitles you to a number of discounts in over 3,000 points throughout the country, including in cultural institutions, spas and shops. and seniors over 60 years of age can count on relief from RTV subscription fees. What’s more, if they receive a pension lower than 50%. average salary (approx.
