The Argentine plastic artist Ariel Dawe inaugurated Landscapes, stories and fragmentations. His intimate and dreamlike painting is based on literature, cinema and everyday life. The light from heaven is the exhibition of the Ecuadorian artist, humanist and curator Mikaela Báez Jalil, with the support of the Beck’s brand. In thirty-eight works, Mikaela captures the sensations and experiences left by her search and discovery of a new vision of life, her wounds, her healing, her reunion with spirituality and her awakening. The Anthropological and Contemporary Art Museum maintains the exhibition Meditation pieces, by Patricia Meier, which adds 50 works inspired, in part, by Japanese philosophy. Covers series Kintsugi, Sashiko, Baroque Y Spinners. “The idea of kintsugi is that when something breaks we must try to fix it in the most precious way, without hiding the repair … Scars remind us of how strong we are ”, says Meier. Visit a sample of mangers that differ in materials and provenance. There are pieces made with corn husks, traditional ceramics, porcelain, wood, silver, acrylics, metals, among others. Different ethnic groups from the world are represented. There are figures with Asian, African, European and American features. These births belonged to Father Hugo Vásquez and became part of the museum’s collection after his death in 2008. See the nativity scenes housed in the Nahim Isaías museum. They are patrimonial pieces of the colonial and republican art reserve, belonging to the Quito School. Popular nativity scenes from Ecuador and other countries of the world are appreciated, dialoguing with each other, with different representations, formats and materials used for their elaboration. The sample Births since the Colony It includes paintings of the Holy Family, heritage sculptures with representations of characters and animals dating from the seventeenth century, carved in wood, incarnated and polychrome, whose prominent figure is the Child Jesus, present in different formats in the collection. In Bodies, human bodies real You can see eight human bodies, eight torsos and more than a hundred healthy organs that are available to visitors to discover the inside of the body and how it works. The show is organized by the production company Arriba el Telón and has been seen by more than 30 million people in 50 countries. The show Guayaquil is the most modern of its kind, with more than 40 illuminated LED panels and virtual guides, as well as face-to-face specialists in all rooms. Concert

Christmas attraction in Guayaquil
