Success is beyond dispute. The first season premiered in mid-July 2016, quickly gaining critical acclaim and crowds of fans around the world. So far, we have had three sequels that have broken all possible popularity and viewership records. Work is currently underway on the 5th and final season, but this is not the only project being created in connection with this universe.
Nobody expected this. The creators of “Stranger Things” are implementing a new project
Before we get to know the end of the adventures of Nastka and her friends, the creators will surprise fans with a completely different show. As it turns out, at the end of 2023, “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” will be performed at the West End theater in London, the plot of which is based on the story known from the series. A few months ago, a short announcement appeared online.
The creators of “Stranger Things”, the Duffer brothers, are responsible for the production of the play. They also involved the series’ scriptwriter, Kate Trefry, who joined forces with Jack Thorn, who wrote the script for “Enola Holmes”. The first shows are scheduled for November 2023, and in December the play will permanently join the theater’s repertoire.
What will the show set in the “Stranger Things” universe be about? Here are the details
Many are certainly curious what the plot of “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” will be about. It turns out that this time the main characters will not be Eleven or her friends, but their parents’ generation, but during their youth. The action was set in 1959, so they are only on the threshold of adulthood. It will all start innocently enough. Hopper will try to fix his broken car, and Joyce will make plans to break away from the boring town to experience life in the big world. Things will change drastically when the ghostly Henry Creel unexpectedly appears in Hawkins.
