Bridge pensions – new rules for granting benefits. Some will lose the right to it
However, some changes will come into force from January 1, 2024. From then on, bridging pensions will only be granted to people employed only under an employment contract. This is why, according to experts, there may be lawsuits from people employed under contracts who want to prove in court that their work is actually a full-time job. – I estimate that there may be several thousand people in the rescue service interested in filing such a lawsuit and I think they will have no problems proving that they actually worked in a job that entitled them to a bridge job – admitted Roman Badach Rogowski in an interview with “”.
In turn, Legal Advisor Andrzej Radzisław points out that these people will have a good chance of proving their case in court and can gain a lot from it. – Court decisions have recently moved in the direction that a person employed under a civil law contract, which is no different from an employment contract, is considered a full-time employee. Such a lawsuit will therefore be very profitable for people who would gain the right to a bridge pension, he says.
