When the priest suddenly interrupted the mass, the girl’s parents did not know what was going on. They didn’t realize that the problem was their child’s behavior. – My daughter didn’t cry or scream. We sat in the back with her and she started babbling. Suddenly, the priest stopped the mass right before the sermon. We didn’t know it was directed at us, recalls the girl’s father. The priest said that the child was definitely not interested in the sermon. – He clearly asked us to go to the sacristy or outside, because we wouldn’t disturb each other – said the father. Interestingly, these were not the only people asked to leave the service. Shortly afterwards, the priest also asked another family with a child to leave.
The church is not big
The case aroused considerable emotions. In an interview with Radio Warta, priest Stanisław Trzepkowski also commented on it. The priest explained that the church is not large and has strong acoustics. Thanks to this, even quiet sounds can be clearly heard by the faithful. It is worth noting that the parents’ reports show that when they went to the sacristy, the priest was not very talkative. However, he has a different opinion. As he informed, he asked his parents to wait a while because he had to greet the arriving pilgrims.
