Jan Śpiewak has been fighting for several months against law-breaking public figures who advertise alcohol on social media. He filed a series of reports of suspected crimes against several well-known people – actors, celebrities, entrepreneurs, former politicians and journalists. He has just achieved another partial success in his crusade: as PAP reports, actress Magdalena C. has been charged.

The Wirtualne Media website confirmed in an interview with the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw that the actress was charged with:
During the investigation, the prosecutor decided to charge Magdalena C. that between June and August 2023, contrary to the provisions of Art. 131 of the Act of October 26, 1982 on upbringing in sobriety and counteracting alcoholism, was advertising an alcoholic drink in the form of vodka by making her image available for graphic and video materials related to her Facebook profile – said Szymon Banna, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw .
If the actress were convicted of advertising alcohol in violation of the Act on Upbringing in Sobriety and Counteracting Alcoholism, it would be another success for Jan Śpiewak. In May this year, it was reported that thanks to his report, Janusz Palikot and Kubê Wojewódzki were convicted. As Śpiewak informed on social media, this was not the end of his attacks on celebrities, because “Palikot, after receiving the accusations, posted about a hundred more illegal advertisements online,” the activist wrote.
Actress Magdalena C. faces a fine ranging from PLN 10,000 to half a million. According to the judgment from May 2023, Palikot was to pay PLN 80,000, Wojewódzki – PLN 70,000. In addition, they were charged with court costs. “Super Express” then reported the amount of the fine.
