Bogumi³a Wander was born on October 7 in Kalisz. She started her career in her third year of studies, when she won the competition to become an announcer at the Łódź TVP Center. Later she moved to Warsaw, where she announced live TVP1 and TVP2 programs, and was also an emcee at the largest music festivals, such as: National Polish Song Festival in Opole or the festival in Sopot. She finished her work as a presenter in 2003, and two years later she married Krzysztof Baranowski, with whom she had previously had an affair.
