It was first publicized by local media, but the information quickly spread throughout the country. 11-year-old Magda Czechowska was returning home with her 15-year-old aunt and 12-year-old friend. When they separated and Magda continued her journey, she headed towards the tunnel. That’s where she was last seen.

She was supposed to come home from the stud farm. A few weeks after she disappeared, her body was found
On July 3, 2007, Magda was spending time at the stud farm with her friend Ola and aunt Eliza. They were supposed to return home at 7 p.m., but their stay was slightly longer. The girls were picked up by the stud farm owner and got off at ul. Mortgage. From there they set off along the promenade at ul. Sienkiewicz. They separated at the intersection with ul. Paderewski. Eliza was supposed to take Magda home, but the girls separated and the 11-year-old went alone in the direction that was near her house. When she did not return, Magda’s mother immediately reported the matter to the police.
Investigators determined that the girl was last seen by one of the witnesses at around 8:45 p.m. at the exit of the tunnel, where she was talking to two men standing next to a dark van. The search continued and a reward of PLN 35,000 was even offered. PLN for a person who will help find an 11-year-old girl. Even Krzysztof Jackowski and Krzysztof Rutkowski got involved in the case. However, they did not bring anything new.

The police tested various hypotheses and talked to many witnesses, but the search for Magda was still unsuccessful. This changed on July 26, 2007. Near the Chańcza Reservoir near Kielce, one of the tourists found the body of a girl while walking her dog. It was hidden in a shallow grave. After several months of working on the case, it was discontinued. 16 years have passed and the perpetrator or perpetrators have not been found yet. However, investigators from the X-Files are working on the case. – Just because the case isn’t solved doesn’t mean it’s closed. It gives us no peace. Police officers from the Świętokrzyskie X-Files are still working to explain it. Without going into details, our research capabilities are getting better and better.
