However, as Dariusz admitted, he did not intend to take advantage of this opportunity and work for a few more years. Why? The reason is purely financial. A longer period of service will provide him with a higher benefit. – I do not hide the fact that I would prefer to work until the age of 65, because then I will receive a higher pension – he noted in “Fakt”.

The amount of the minimum pension in Norway depends on the length of service. The amount is calculated proportionally based on the years worked. As “Fakt” calculates, Dariusz from “Sanatorium miłość” can count on approximately 157,171 Norwegian crowns per year, i.e. approximately PLN 63,000. PLN gross. A 61-year-old will therefore be able to count on approximately PLN 5,300 per month. For comparison, in March 2023 the average pension in Poland was PLN 3,482.63.
