Slavic “Explosion” conquers the Internet. Once a hit in discos, today it can rule weddings

“Explosion” is one of the few Polish club bangers that is remembered by many. Moreover, he is also well known among young people. The authors of the hit, Kalwi & Remi, have released a remix of the song, which may make it come back into favor again – this time at weddings. Moreover, the recording is currently in second place in the “Trending” tab in the music category.

The success of the song “Explosion” by the Poznań DJ duo Kalwi & Remi meant that in the second half of the 2000s, many club artists broke into the mainstream, conquering dance floors and radio charts. The characteristic song is now considered a cult song by many, and its sound is also liked by those who, due to their age, could not dance to the rhythm of the song 15 years ago on club dance floors.

“Explosion” in Slavic is a hit on the Internet. Are we going to see a boom in “club partying”?

From time to time, a refreshed version of the song appears on the Internet, but the one that premiered a few days ago is completely different from the others, and its popularity is growing day by day. Almost 500 thousand The remix of “Explosion” by DNSQ received views in one day, and he decided to add vocals from the folk song “Ech, poleczko” by the youth band Guzowianki with lyrics by Marek Mioduszewski.

As you can see, the creators of the original liked the version because they made it available on the duo’s official YouTube channel. However, the fact that the listeners appreciated this work is evidenced by the numerous comments that we can read under the recording. “You, boy, are not aware of it yet, but you have created gold”, “But it is good. Legendary music and the wonderful voice of the girls” – we read.

The recording is currently in second place in the “On Time” tab in the music category, and its listenership will probably continue to grow. Personally, I think it’s an interesting and fun combination, but both songs definitely sound better on their own.

However, if Poles like it, this version can probably become a hit at Polish weddings, where feast music is often an inseparable element. In the case of this remix, two birds will be killed with one stone – club fun and a traditional feast. This may result in similar remixes in the future, which I allowed myself to call a “club feast”.
