There’s still free-for-all in Sunday cabarets. This time, Duda and Morawiecki got hit

Another Sunday cabaret show left no stone unturned on the politicians of the ruling party. During the “Young and Moral” show, crude jokes were made about President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The audience had a lot of fun, but Polsat decided not to share these particular sketches on its social media.

Political topics are currently among the most frequently discussed in public space. This is also noticed by the most popular cabaret artists, who present their original sketches on Polsat every Sunday. Vulgarities fly from the stage to the delight of the amused audience, but some of the audience were outraged. After broadcasting the Young Gentlemen’s Cabaret skit during the “Magic End of the Holidays 2023. Świętokrzyska Kabaretowa Gala”, Polsat decided to remove this material from the network.

“Young and Moral” doesn’t let up. They continue to attack politicians

Along with the station’s autumn schedule, the “Cabaret Live. Młodzi i moralni” series appeared on Sunday evenings, hosted by members of Kabaret Moralny Niepokoju and Kabaret Młodych Panów. The first part of the series was as intense as in the case of holiday shows. In one of the sketches, it was decided to attack Andrzej Duda and Mateusz Morawiecki.

In the staging “Andrzej – Romania” they decided to show what unrefined conversations between the president and the prime minister could look like. The role of politicians was played by Marcin Wójcik and Robert Górski, who tried to make their appearance as similar as possible to the politicians of the ruling party. Their dialogues also leave no doubt as to who they are talking about:

We’ll see what happens with you, I’ll be there in a hundred. I wonder who will come after you, maybe it’s time for a black prime minister. Do you know who you’re talking to? With the president, and if there was no democracy in our country, I would be the king. That’s why the president wants to destroy democracy, so that I can be the king – said Marcin Wójcik.

In the following scenes, they allowed themselves to refer to the military parade that was organized on August 15 in Warsaw. They referred to an internet joke that the arrangement of helicopters in the sky refers to the famous “eight stars”. “Who allowed eight helicopters to fly in one row in the sky. Five, break three. It’s clear, you have a movement of eight stars in the army (…) Someone is in control of this brothel?” – Robert Górski asked irritably.

However, there was also a reference to the leader of the opposition party, Donald Tusk. At one point, Marcin Wójcik said: “I will learn to ride a horse and everyone will lose their temper, especially the president. Everyone will think that it is Tusk who is entering all in white, and it is me.”

Watching the live broadcast, you could see that the audience was very pleased with the topics discussed in the sketches and some were actually choking with laughter. However, the recordings of this skit can be searched in vain on Polsat’s social media. Apparently, after recent complaints about some sketches, the station has decided to broadcast only the more mild ones that will not specifically attack politicians of the ruling party.
