As it turns out, the cluster is not accidental and is a deliberate, although apparently grass-roots, action of the leaders themselves.

For two years now, Monika Olejnik has been using the phrase “welcome to free media” when announcing her programs on TVN24. Day after day, during the broadcast of “Kropka nad I”, viewers can hear that they are welcomed not on TVN24, but on “free media”, which quickly spread to other editions of TVN news programs. Wirtualne Media talked to one of the anonymous employees of Telewizja Polska, whether it was a top-down order from the management or maybe their own initiative:

Thirdly: it is worth emphasizing what is Polish. Liberals claim that capital has no nationality. They are wrong because it is of great importance. It’s a very good idea and has been positively received, so other editorial offices have also picked it up, he said.
It is not known whether the term “Polish” is opposed to “free” in this situation, but it is difficult not to see a connection between one term and the other.
