In the first days of September, the first lucky ones selected during the castings fly to the Canary Islands. But a few-week stay in Gran Canaria and the opportunity to appear on television is not everything, because each of the amateur actors can count on remuneration. In 2022, one of the amateur actors, who is professionally involved in quasi-documents, revealed details of his earnings in the pages. Before entering the set, each of the actors signs a contract for specific work. The rate depends on both the role received and the agency that is responsible for searching for actors. – I earned PLN 600 for the main role – the man revealed. – When I played episodic roles, the rates were around PLN 200-250, but the salary also depends on the agency that employs the actor. My record of money earned for three days of the plan was PLN 900 – he added.
A year earlier, the editors found the price list of “Hidden Truth”, a para-documentary broadcast on TVN. The main character of the episode could count on PLN 1,000 for 3 days of work. For two shooting days, the main female character would receive PLN 700. For one day of shooting, actors playing episodic characters would receive PLN 300 each. There are also roles where actors can negotiate rates.
