Where to throw away old meat? Not biowaste at all

It would seem that most of us know what waste container we throw food scraps into, but do we really? We suggest where to dispose of old meat. And no, it’s not a bio-waste bin as most of us think.

Many of us often make mistakes. Theoretically, it would seem that kitchen waste should end up in a bio-waste container, but this is not entirely true. Some of it should indeed be thrown into brown bins, but not all. We suggest which waste should be placed in bio bins and which should be placed in mixed waste containers.

What do we put in brown containers? The container is intended for renewable waste

We put biodegradable waste, i.e. waste that decomposes, in brown containers. These are, for example, vegetable and fruit peelings, coffee and tea grounds, flowers and plants, as well as grasses. Let us remember that we throw only renewable waste into the brown container, so we should not put plastic or paper bags in it. should be thrown directly into the bin without any containers as they prevent composting. However, we do not place animal waste, i.e. animal faeces or bones, in bio-waste.
