When politician Barack Obama became president of the United States in 2009, his daughters Malia and Sasha were just girls. Today, the young daughters of Michelle Obama are already women who have their own style and who show it on their outings in Los Angeles, where they now live without their parents, but under the eyes of journalists.

The evolution of sisters is notorious now that they have become more independent from the family nucleus. The best example of this is their recent performance at a night party for singer Drake in West Hollywood.

The extravagant appearance that night on August 23 made it more than clear that there was no trace of the girls who arrived at the White House at the ages of 10 and 7.

According to Page Six’s timeline and some pictures that can be seen on the Instagram account of his mother, Michelle Obama, the transition from childhood to adolescence and then to adulthood allowed them to go through different moments, experiment and discover their own style.

They left behind their mother’s faux elegance with smaller versions of the colorful coats, cardigans and velvet A-line or A-line dresses that abounded in her wardrobe, radiating the innocence of her years.

We’ve seen them in different outfits over the years, and many of them were classic outfits that matched the look of the former First Lady of the United States in design or color.

After they entered the university stage and with the departure of their father from the Oval Office, the Obamas were oriented towards informality and bet more on casual styles, some skirts or jeans and shoes and sportswear.

But once it’s installed in Los Angeles, California, it’s a different story. Michelle Obama’s daughters, Malia, 25, and Sasha, 22, are now going Hollywood with striking outfits that include crop tops, cargo pants and on-trend footwear like ankle boots or flat sandals in Sasha’s case.
