It was too late to be rescued. The screenwriter died at the age of only 55, leaving his wife and daughters grieving. Only three months later, Błaszczyk had to face another blow. The younger of the twins, Aleksandra, choked on a tablet while taking medication. She lost consciousness and has been in a coma ever since. Ewa Błaszczyk has never been involved with any other man. She devotes all her time to fighting for the health of her beloved daughter. To support parents in a similar situation, together with priest Wojciech Drozdowicz, she founded the foundation “Akogo?” and built the “Alarm Clock” Neurorehabilitation Clinic at the Children’s Health Center in Warsaw.
