Who Krzysztof Jackowski is, we all know about it in Poland. Over the years, he claims to have helped find over 700 missing persons and solved more than 1,000 other cases through his visions. Representatives of the services, as well as the Itaka Foundation, which deals with the search for missing persons, had different opinions about its effectiveness. But Jackowski himself presents dozens of documents from the police and the prosecutor’s office on his website – thanks for help, requests for visions or information about his questioning as a witness. The clairvoyant is also very good with the media: in addition to reports on solved cases, his New Year’s predictions, election and World Cup predictions are also published. I will not analyze here which ones worked, which ones did not, and which ones were so vague that it is not known at all. I also do not intend to judge whether and how Jackowski solves police cases. I just want to tell you how for nearly PLN 600 I learned to stimulate my forehead and smell things.
First impressions
At the beginning, I check who the course is aimed at, because I don’t qualify. Fortunately, Jackowski leaves no doubt: to everyone. There are no requirements to pay money and watch.
The clairvoyance course is open to everyone. You don’t need any predispositions or any other experience to learn this skill
– I read on the site. Jackowski claims that “everything you need to clairvoyant is already in you” and since we have other senses, so does this one. For now, however, as a trainee, I will have to strain my eyes and ears. I’m afraid that mainly the latter: before the start of the training, the information is displayed that no microphones were mounted in the training videos with experiences. As it turns out, metal interferes with clairvoyance. You also have to take off your watch.
I have 25 videos ahead of me, in which Jackowski will talk about the world, God, the cosmos, his life, struggles, successes and – too, too – his method. Other than the welcome and bonus, all videos are of his live training. Clearly someone here killed two birds with one stone. Total length of materials: less than 5 hours. Okay. I try not to be discouraged by the form, maybe the content will surprise me. Notebook in hand, thought sharpened and we’re going to throw ourselves into the Unknown.

Krzysztof Jackowski: spiritual theories
The one who naively thinks that one can immediately start practicing inducing visions is wrong. First Jackowski talks and talks and talks. From extensive theological and philosophical reflections, I learn that the clairvoyant recognizes reincarnation and karma. He compares life to school classes (if you haven’t learned it, you will repeat it), and animals are perhaps incarnations of people who hurt someone in a previous life. At the same time, he believes that our fate is determined (as illustrated by the long story of how he predicted for one lady that her son would kill someone, and some time later he actually did). He uses quantum physics to his theories: because there can be infinitely many worlds, Jackowski believes that everyone has their own paradise and all those with whom he has some connection. There are also considerations about telephones:
Technology from the same elements that make up stone, sand, has created a telepathic tool. (…) The spiritually lazy man dropped the telepathic possibility on the stone
If anyone here is interested in Jung, there is a special quote for these people: “we have a soul – spirit – soul, [ale] for now, we are the body” – and simple, the psyche and the spirit have gone into the forest, they will come back later. If someone is not interested in Jung, but knows the Book of Genesis, then there is another thread for you: the theory of the creation of the world. Jackowski recalls it as his childish vision (also says a lot about how he thought about nothingness when he was young), but then he does not escape from it at all. I explain in short: God was lonely in empty space, so after various considerations he took a way and created man.
God pulled us out of himself because he didn’t want to be alone. And then he made us dirty, and then he imprisoned us in bodies to succumb to temptations, but also to good things, and to improve as a personality, but also to get dirty
– explains the clairvoyant. It can be said without exaggeration: great gnosis it is not. But whatever time passes on these stories, it will pass.
Krzysztof Jackowski: stories about himself
Much more space than theology is occupied by the clairvoyant’s stories about himself. I expected it – in the description of the course there is an announcement that “I will get to know the evidence”, i.e. “I will hear stories from several cases solved so far”. But I didn’t know that Jackowski would tell them ab ovo, with all the details, without abbreviations. The story of how he experienced one of his first visions could be summarized in three sentences, but is it worth condensing an interesting story in such a way? Well, not worth it. That is why the clairvoyant tells one by one that in the 1990s it was hard, expensive and low salaries for Balcerowicz, he had to work in two companies and get up at five, he ran to work, which he had two kilometers to do, his bonus was cut off because he was late, he was late because he couldn’t sleep at night, and he couldn’t sleep at night because he came home late, he stayed up late and he knew he had to get up again in a few hours, it was already driving him crazy, hysterical, and one night, if not could fall asleep, the thought occurred to him to get some water, because there would be no water in the tap in the morning, and he had a vision of a ditch near the park in Człuchów and a yellow digger standing by the ditch, but when he got up in the morning at five o’clock, there was water, so he decided that it was some kind of hallucinations, and he left the house normally, but when he came back for lunch between one job and another, his wife told him that there would be no dinner because there was no water, so he immediately dropped his bag and ran to the park from his vision, luckily he lived close by and had a shortcut across the yard, and there was indeed a ditch and a yellow digger standing there, and the workers said the pipe burst, and I’m writing all this just to show what Jackowski is talking about.
We also learn many other stories. About how two young people loved each other, but also argued, and on the spur of the moment he hit her over the head with an ashtray and killed her. About how the clairvoyant found a girl with a small child close to home, although his logical mind told him that she must have met a guy and left with him for Germany. About how he had a vision that one lady’s missing valuables were in the wardrobe, she searched the wardrobe and then called him terribly that there was nothing, but finally found her gold hidden in the sleeve of her coat. And like gold from the sleeve, jewels of more memories, stories, anecdotes fall from the course, time flies again, and I bite my pencil and do not glance at my watch just because I have already taken it off in the hope of some clairvoyant experience. Once, it seems to me that there will be a practical part – announced on the website – because the staff is changing. Now Jackowski no longer lectures, but sits at the table together with the trainee. But no. The clairvoyant gives her newspaper clippings about his successes to read aloud.

– this is how Jackowski talks about clairvoyance. Before the practical part begins, in the course of the theoretical part, among cosmology and memories, there are some tips. As I hear: it feels like a forehead that needs to be stimulated with a simple technique using the fingers. Items related to the vision we want to evoke are worth smelling. You have to be humble and don’t get too carried away. I’m still learning how to think about letting energy in and out, how to position the eyes and what it means, how the forehead tingles in vision and what makes it pulsate more. With such preparation, I can watch the trainees who took part in the stationary training get down to the experiments. There will be no special tasks for people who have paid for the online version of the course.
The basic exercise looks like this: the trainee sits on a chair, closes his eyes, Jackowski puts something behind him and you have to say what it is. People sit, think, make associations, sometimes explain why they fail – for example, explaining that their rational brain comes to them. Jackowski advises, moves his hands over the students’ heads, sometimes shouts, sometimes prompts. His initial instructions are not necessarily easy. Let’s try this:
It’s not about the item. I put something written on your right side. I wrote something on a piece of paper. What I wrote characterizes the character. So how would you define a character, a type of person. Don’t go any deeper than that. A character, a type of man. People are good, bad, average, so, so, different. Extract the meaning of these sentences and imagine human nature from these sentences, from this feeling
It turns out that Jackowski wrote “Bogusław Linda and Cezary Pazura”. The adept in the chair names Linda – after the master prompts him to “request from his psyche” the name of the actor or actress. There is another primus who, based on a photo of a dead woman, gives apt associations with her death. Jackowski shakes his hand and gives him a photograph of the suicide as a keepsake, his colleagues applaud. And at the end, the clairvoyant throws printouts about his cases towards the students. “I’m throwing you a piece of my success because I’m generous, because I can afford it.”

After the course. Epilogue
With new abilities that go beyond your traditional senses, you will begin to see the world and your life in a whole new way. (…) Clairvoyance is always an individual and subtle matter, but during the course you will learn techniques that will allow you to start experiencing this phenomenon
– I read on the course website before I bought it. Cool, I didn’t start it, but it’s a known thing: you can always tell that skeptics fail. Therefore, in the end, in the spirit of openness, I propose a small thought experiment. Let’s reject rationalism for a moment, let’s assume for the sake of the text that – as Shakespeare wanted – there are things our philosophers never dreamed of. That Krzysztof Jackowski really has an unexplained talent that allows him to find the missing. We have it? Well, let the question hang in the air: is it okay then to promise people that they can learn it, too, if they watch five hours of movies for a fat buck? To claim that he developed a technique suitable for everyone? Since he himself admits that “what you will learn is elusive”?
Three days after buying the course, I get an e-mail from Krzysztof Jackowski. The title is “How’s Your Progress?”. The clairvoyant asks you to share your impressions, asks if I practice awakening my feeling, advises me to stimulate my forehead every day. And it’s probing whether I’m interested in further developing my psychic abilities.
Because what I’m practicing now is the basics, and maybe there will be a second part of the training for those who want to go deeper.
