“Barraka” offers a proposal “suggestive, tempting and beautiful”, as explained by Arakistain in today’s event. “He has managed to create a fantasy world with a very attractive aesthetic, and refers to experiences that all adults know: the festivals of the towns, barracks, cucherías …”, added Arakistain.

In the words of the jury representative, “videogames account for 8% of total Internet traffic, and the presence of Basque in this field is anecdotal”. Hopefully “Barraka” serves at least as a benchmark in that field.

Urizar has been very happy to receive the award from the mayor of Durango Ima Garrastatxu (the scholarship is funded by the City Council) and Nerea Mujika. “I have to thank the Game Erauntsia collective, because I found out about the call thanks to them,” he began his speech.
