Ewa Kuzyk-Florczak loved music as a child and initially associated her future with it. As a young girl, she learned to play the piano, and in her school days she took part in singing competitions. He owes his passion for music to his parents, although their profession was not related to it. After graduating from high school, she planned to study medicine, but the prospect of working in a morgue terrified her. So she took Polish philology. After a year, she dropped out of college. As she herself revealed, the reason was … a ban on entering the reading room. Finally, she joined the team of the Silesian Military District in Wrocław. A friend from the group suggested Ewa Florczak to study at an acting school. She got in the first time.

She played Sergeant Ewa in “07 come in”. “Several film roles passed me by her nose”

Shortly after graduation, thanks to Krzysztof Szmagier, she found herself in the newly emerging production “”. The series, based on the hugely popular series of detective stories, was supposed to warm up the tarnished image of the Citizens’ Militia. The production can still be watched on television and on TVP VOD. On the set of the serial sergeant Ewa Olszańska and lieutenant Borewicz, they became friends for many years. – I was probably the only woman on the set who did not fall in love with Bronek – in an interview for “Na Żywo”.

The role of Sergeant Ewa gave her great recognition, but it also had unpleasant consequences. – Several film roles passed me by her nose – admitted the actress in an interview with “Echo Dnia”. Nevertheless, she remembers the adventure with “07 zgło¶ się” well, although the performance alongside Bronisław Cieślak pigeonholed her for years. At castings, she heard a lot of congratulations for a great role, but directors were reluctant to cast her in their productions. They didn’t ask me to act in their films. They claimed that I associated too much with “07” – in the pages of “Angora”.

Fans asked her to solve criminal mysteries. “I didn’t feel like a star”

Fortunately, the theater remained, although there were also incidents with fans of the series. People recognized her on the streets and even asked her to solve crimes. They also came to performances with her participation, although they wanted to meet “sergeant Ewa” more. “I didn’t feel like a star because I was on the show. I remember that people used to come to the theater when I was playing a play, but they didn’t come there for me as Ewa Florczak, but for Ewa Olszańska from “07 report in”. They gave me bouquets, gifts, but when I went on stage there was always a buzz in the hall: “Oh, it’s the one from 07, it’s the one from 07” – she recalled in an interview

After leaving the show, she became a lecturer. There she met her husband. He was her student

After leaving the series, Ewa Kuzyk-Florczak was offered to teach singing at the Warsaw acting school. She also started cooperation with Teatr na Woli. – I did not realize that classes with students would turn my life upside down – she recalled years later. One of her students was Sławomir Orzechowski. Younger than her by 10 years, he had a crush on her. The feeling between them, as she herself admitted, was not comfortable. – But the heart is not a servant – . They got married after 10 years of relationship. In 2000, they decided to divorce, 10 years after the wedding. Ewa Florczak still appears in films and series. She played in such productions as “Klan”, “Skazany na bluesa”, “Letters to M.” or “Changers”. For several years, she played in “Colours of Happiness”, and in 2022 she appeared in “Leśniczówka” and the series “Komisarz Mama”. He also has a number of episodic roles to his credit.
