Pension for people born between 1948 and 1969. Who can apply for it?
People who were born between 1949 and 1968 can move to an earlier one, provided that as of December 31, 2008:
- have reached the required retirement age (60 years women, 65 men),
- they have documented contributory and non-contributory period (20 years women, 25 men),

- are not members of OFE or through the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), they submitted an application for the transfer of funds collected there to the state budget.
Work in a position in special conditions and of a special nature. What are they about?
It is about work that is significantly harmful to the environment or is a significant nuisance, and also requires high psychophysical fitness due to the safety of one’s own and the environment, such as underground work or mountain rescuers. On the other hand, work of a special nature is defined as the work of employees of customs administration bodies and state control bodies, teachers, professional soldiers or journalists. You will find the exact one in the Council of Ministers of February 7, 1983.
Don’t forget about this post. Without it, you may not get early retirement
If you are wondering if your work was in special conditions or of a special nature, check the work certificate. When the employer used departmental lists, he should include a record confirming this, i.e.:
- type of work strictly according to the list, section and items listed in the regulation,
- workplace listed in the appropriate list, department, position and point of departmental management or resolution,
- periodwhere work in special conditions was carried out permanently and full-time.
Without it, ZUS may reject your application. When the employer did not use the lists, it is enough for the position indicated in the certificate to be in accordance with the regulation. In this case, the following documents should be attached to the application, which will confirm:
- the amount of remuneration or insurance,
- periods of employment in special conditions or of a special nature,
- periods shown in the form.
