The categories available for application are: Musical and / or Sound Arts, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Film and Literature.
Until this Friday, December 10, the community of Guayaquil artists can apply with their collective or individual proposals in the different artistic expressions to participate in the event Encounter of cities through the arts: Guayaquil-Medellín, to be held from January 17 to 21, 2022.
Through a parallel curation, the meeting aims to seek dialogue between artists from both cities. During the day, artistic activities, workshops and talks are planned around the creative processes of research in the arts.
The programming will take place in the different spaces of the University of the Arts.
“It seeks to think of cities from the arts and, in particular to the centers, as axes of gentrification”, specifies the organization in its bases, available here.

“Artists and artistic and cultural groups residing in Guayaquil with at least three years of experience will be able to participate in this call (…) The artists must be present and participate in the pre-production, production and post-production process of the work”, they emphasize.
