The National Broadcasting Council receives complaints about Polsat. All because of a vulgar parrot sketch

The Cabaret of Young Gentlemen caused quite a stir. All thanks to a sketch presented by comedians during this year’s Świętokrzyska Cabaret Gala. The National Broadcasting Council is already receiving complaints against Telewizja Polsat, which broadcast the event live. The station had already commented on the matter.

On the last weekend of August, Polsat broadcast live the course that took place in Kielce as part of the . During the broadcast, an age marking was displayed on the screen, indicating that the program was allowed for viewers from the age of 16. However, this did not save the creators from arousing considerable controversy.

The scandal surrounding the sketch Kabaret Młodych Panów. The creators assure that this was their goal

Undoubtedly, it was the Young Gentlemen who stole the whole show during this year’s festival. During the sketch entitled “Pet Shop”, all attention was focused on the parrot, which openly criticized the politicians of the ruling party and TVP, shouting vulgar slogans that were uncensored on the air. There were also the famous phrases “je *** PiS” or “Ziobro, you f*** ***”, as well as bold statements. One of them was “Kaczyński, you will sit.”

The audience, which gathered in large numbers in the Kadzielnia amphitheater that evening, seemed delighted, reacting to these slogans with loud applause and laughter. The creators do not hide that this was the intention, because political topics are very catchy in Poland, especially now, when elections are approaching, which may determine the further fate of the country. So it wasn’t hard to predict that the audience would pick him up. A simple mechanism worked: “hit the table and the scissors will speak.” It seems that there are many people who have similar views and similar views – they said in an interview with .

Complaints are sent to the National Broadcasting Council. Meanwhile, Polsat distances itself from the case. “We only broadcast”

It turns out, however, that despite the many positive opinions, not everyone liked the sketch. Complaints from viewers are sent to the National Broadcasting Council. They appeal to punish Telewizja Polsat, which broadcast the event live, for numerous profanity and lack of censorship. – So far, the National Broadcasting Council has received five complaints regarding this broadcast. The allegations concern the broadcasting of uncensored profanity. These are complaints only from individuals, said Joanna Szejka from the KRRiT press team in an interview.

Although the controversial sketch was aired, Polsat did not decide to publish its fragments on the YouTube channel, even though recordings from other performances have already been posted online. Now the station completely distances itself from this scandal, explaining that it was not the organizer of the event, because it was only responsible for ensuring the broadcast. According to the station, it is therefore not responsible for the content that was in the program. – Telewizja Polsat was not the organizer of this event, so obviously we are not responsible for its organization, program, etc. We only broadcast the event, which was carried out “live”, informed “Press” station spokesman Tomasz Matwiejczuk.
