Millionaires were supposed to spend a “poor holiday”. Already on the first day something went wrong. “I spend more on a t-shirt”

The portal “The Sun” described the story of millionaires who exchanged vacation plans with their moderately wealthy friends. The couple appeared on the program “Rich Holiday Poor Holiday”. The biggest problem for them was that there was no truffle butter in the holiday menu.

Lucia, 76, and her friend Hugh planned to spend 11 days in Saint Lucia this year, but ended up camping in Kent. The couple wanted to see how people who do not earn millions live and took up the challenge. They took part in Channel 5’s “Rich Holiday Poor Holiday” and swapped their holiday plans with those of 33-year-old Keisha and Merritt.

“I spend more on a t-shirt”

Although the caravan was nothing like the apartments that the millionaire couple had stayed in before, they started their holiday in Kent with a positive attitude. It didn’t last long though. Their enthusiasm waned when they learned that they would be able to spend as little as £100 during a week’s rest. “I paid more for a T-shirt,” Hugh admitted.

On the second day they broke the rules

On the second day, the couple broke the rules when truffle butter appeared at the campsite. It turned out to be a product they couldn’t do without. “I can deal with boredom and boring activities, but I can’t stand eating anything,” Hugh said in his defense.

According to reports, the man also complained about the small space in the bedroom, so he slept on a sofa bed. Instead, he arranged a dressing room in the bedroom. He said it was a little more comfortable that way. When the couple found out their holiday cost £505, they couldn’t hide their surprise. They thought that rest of such a standard costs much less.
