never ceases to surprise. This time, he takes on the tragic events from over half a century ago. What is the movie “The Snow Brotherhood” about? We present the details of the new potential blockbuster of the platform.

A routine flight turned into a nightmare. Cannibalism was their only salvation

On October 13, 1972, the Uruguayan Air Force’s 571st flight to Santiago, Chile took place. On board, apart from the crew, were members of the rugby team and their families, a total of 45 people. However, the weather conditions were not conducive to overcoming such problematic terrain, which certainly contributed to the error made by the pilots. While traversing the Andes, the time needed to overcome one of the many passes was incorrectly estimated. Then there was a catastrophe. The plane collided with a mountain, as a result of which as many as 12 passengers died on the spot. Those who managed to survive had to overcome their own limits to survive.

As the flight was routine, food supplies were scarce. A few bars of chocolate and bottles of wine were all they had. The ordeal lasted for 2 months. At first, the castaways tried to feed on what, however, appeared to be virulent. – We tried to eat strips of leather torn off the suitcases, even though we knew they contained so many chemicals that they would hurt us more than help us – one of the survivors, Nando Parrado. Without that, hunger became unbearable. Then they resorted to cannibalism. “I felt a great humiliation and knew that this was a great violation of civilized principles. But I also accepted the fact that I didn’t do anything that I would resent if it was done to me in this situation,” said the second survivor, Roberto Canessa.
