It has been four months since Ecuadorian businesswoman Rossana Queirolo traveled to the United States to undergo surgery to replace her left hip after falling from a horse. Queirolo, who is also a hormonal, nutritional and fitness coach, and carries out constant activity related to sports, recorded on his digital platforms the evolution after the surgical intervention and how he managed, little by little, to continue exercising.
“Today I can say with certainty that I wouldn’t trade everything I’ve been through for anything in the world. I left from pain, fear, hopelessness and anxiety; to joy, to gratitude, to existence and mentally stronger than ever. I love this scar ➡️ because every morning it reminds me that I’m alive, that I can move, that my legs are doing fantastically well, that God has been good to me and that I have a community that prayed so much that everything would be fine 🙏 🏼”, it says in part of the message accompanying the photos showing the scar on the leg from the operation.

In the post, Queirolo took the opportunity to thank her husband, children, the digital community and the specialist (James Huddleston) for the support she received before, during and after the surgery. “I receive their love in their thousands of messages on the networks, when they meet me and look at me with joyful eyes, when they approach me on the street and tell me that they prayed for my recovery. Thank you so much, all this shows me that prayer can do everything!!! Never stop searching because God listens to your words 🙏🏼 I love you forever ♥️…” he wrote.
The Ecuadorian now has a prosthetic on her left hip and after a roughly 4-month process, she has resumed her normal exercise routine, which she continues to share on social media.

“I felt like I was breaking eggs 😂 but it’s normal to feel weird after such a complex operation! At first I was scared and very insecure, but then I felt better. I literally followed the physiotherapist’s recommendations: land on the tips of your feet and gently lower the heel, she also told me to do it on grass for now 🙄 I only ran for 10 minutes 😁 PS. If you are in rehab, DO NOT skip steps, there is a lot of mobility, stability and strength therapy before running that I continue to work on daily,” he said last July.
