There is probably no person who did not watch adventures as a child. The British premiere took place at the end of May 2004, but it hit the screens in Poland only three years later, instantly making a sensation among the youngest audience.
This is one of the most popular fairy tales among children. Who lent their voices to the characters in the Polish dubbing version?
Few people know that “Peppa Pig” has two dubbing versions in Poland. The premiere of the first of them, the more popular one, took place on June 17, 2007 and was initially broadcast during Wednesday Evenings on TVP1, and later on TVP ABC. The title role was played by Magdalena Wasylik, for whom the role was a ticket to a career. The rest of the characters were voiced by Lucyna Mlec, Robert Tondera and Wit Apostolakis-Gluziński.
The second version was delivered to the recipients soon after, on June 26, 2007. It was created for DVD releases, as well as the MiniMini channel, where it is still broadcast regularly. In this version, the voice of the pink heroine is voiced by Julita Kożuszek-Borsuk, while the other roles are played by, among others, Marek Włodarczyk, Andrzej Chudy and Dorota Lanton.

Those who watched carefully, certainly did not miss the fact that both Peppa and the other characters are always facing the viewers sideways, although the sight of two pairs of eyes can be misleading in this regard. Because of this, many have begun to wonder what their faces would look like if they were looking straight ahead. Curiosity was satisfied by illustrators who shared the effects of their work online.
On the popular portal X (formerly Twitter) two pictures appeared, showing Peppa’s face frontally. Although there are slight differences between the graphics, both are disturbing. Why? The heroine has two pairs of eyes.
Certainly not what viewers expected. Seeing these graphics, many will probably start to wonder where the idea for the heroine to have two pairs of eyeballs came from. This is due to the way she was portrayed in the fairy tale. When shown in both left and right profile, she always had her eyes right next to each other on either side of her face. Peppa’s appearance in such an edition, especially for the youngest, can be a real shock and completely disturb her current vision or imagination.
